OUR PROJECT
YOUR MOVIE
Casting: Film and television are not just looking for stars: casting companies search for unknown faces and the demand for extras does not stop.
locations: We are all aware of the importance of location in the setting of a series and film. Although part of this is rolled on a plate, nothing is comparable to a natural scenario (be it a street, square, a forest or a beach), even so we must bear in mind that we will depend on the weather.
SHORT LINE FILMS DISTRIBUTION focuses on providing filmmakers with all the necessary features to launch their films with success and economy. It is a one-call program that does it all. There are four main sources of income that we approach. These sources will generate the income you will need to recover your costs, pay your investors and have enough to finance your next movie.
The Director of Casting or Cast is responsible for organizing and facilitating the selection of actors for the different roles of a production by conducting interviews and auditions to choose the protagonists of each role according to their performance. It also carries out negotiations with the representatives of the actors to agree on the fees and benefits of each one as well as the responsibilities within the contract.
Each production is different, no matter how big or small your project is, and therefore, if you need one or hundreds of extras, we will make the selection of them, counting with the best artists available, adapting to your needs to make the production possible.
One of the most important points when starting a recording is to choose a location, the physical location where the recording will take place. This space has to have several characteristics that accompany the essence of the project and be functional both from the aesthetic and for the various activities of the production itself.
Finding the ideal space to carry out a recording is an arduous task that requires a lot of experience. That is why there is the figure of "Producer of Locations" which is responsible for both finding the site that meets the technical and aesthetic needs of the project as well as opening, closing and delivering the location in the same conditions in which it was granted.
Movie trailers are, from the golden age of the industry, the way to sell a visual piece to the viewer and to ensure the purchase of a ticket the next time you go to the cinema. Of course, in audiovisual marketing there are other ways to promote, from posters, billboards, media tour and, in recent years, with viral strategies made through digital platforms.
With the digital age, the dynamics of movie trailers have not changed much, but if other elements have been added to the marketing strategy. For example, now campaigns of expectation are handled that do not necessarily reflect something of the history of the film.
